What is SISY?
SISY is a 2-year initiative under the Erasmus+ banner, with the objective of developing soft skills in young people with learning differences through participation in sports and group activities. To achieve this, the project will aim to create a Collaborative Learning Hub of pedagogical materials and learning opportunities through collaboration of various organisations in the project’s Community of Practice, a network of learning experts and organisations with vast experience in specialised training. In addition, SISY will organise specialised Inclusive Sports Tournaments and Social Gatherings to create a strong community across Europe.
The project so far
The project is in its early phases, with partners having met in May in the beautiful city of Bilbao, in the Basque Country, to kick off the meeting and discuss the management and creation of the SISY Community of Practice.
In addition to outlining the first steps, partners got to know each other better and collaborate closely to form a stronger connection, as the project aims to do with young people all across Europe.
What’s next?
Now, SISY has a key objective: Spread the word! To develop our Collaborative Learning Hub and power our Community of Practice, we need experts from all countries to join together and share their worlds. If you or anyone you know has experience in specialised training, we want to hear from you!
In addition, make sure to keep up to date by following our social media channels and checking out the project website to not miss a single thing!
Thanks for your attention, and stay tuned!
