What’s new with us?
We’ve been working very hard to develop the project’s learning outcomes, as well as organising our Inclusive Sports Tournaments and working hand-in-hand with not only youth workers and experts, but with people of all ages with learning differences and disabilities.
The implementation of project activities is progressing, with our Online Course almost finalised, and the final touches of the Community of Practice platform being put in place. Stay tuned to hear the latest news on these!
Inclusive Sports Tournaments
Over the past few months, the partners have organised SISY Inclusive Sports Tournaments across Europe. As well as preparing trainers to deliver their own inclusive sports initiatives through the Youth Workers Training Workshop, the implementation of the Sports Tournaments allowed partners to connect with experts and end users and beneficiaries of SISY’s initiatives and outreach.

The EHU organised various sporting events with students and teaching assistants with Downs Syndrome, providing a sporting space with no discrimination for all to enjoy

Smartup organised an inclusive martial arts exhibition to present kickboxing and muay thai students with an opportunity to showcase their skills and what they’ve learned.

All participants in the Inclusive Sports Tournament made a huge impact in spreading awareness and breaking barriers through sports.
What’s next?
The project team is hard at work, and one more thing is needed: Share and spread the word for SISY! The contents we’re making will help many young people and youth workers in their inclusive sports journey and in developing their soft skills, and by spreading the word, you can help us reach even more!
Don’t forget to follow the project’s social media for important news and updates on all results and events!
Thanks for your attention, and stay tuned!
